Juvederm Ultra 3 is made from highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which means it lasts longer before breaking down within the skin. Because of its specific concentration of hyaluronic acids, Juvederm Ultra 3 is best suited for treating medium to deep wrinkles on the face, use to correct nasolabial folds, also known as parentheses or smile lines, which are the lines that run between the nose and the corners of the mouth, marionette lines at the corner of the mouth, vertical lines between the nose and the lips, or almost any other moderate to severe facial line, wrinkle or skin depression.

Many doctors also use it to add volume or fuller lips to add volume to the cheeks, to correct the shape of the earlobes, or to fill in acne scars or other skin imperfections. For moderate skin problems, the concentration of hyaluronic acid can give you just the right amount of volume to smooth the skin.
